A story of heartbreak about hope, love, pain, and human courage — told through the unique aesthetic of the Teatron ensemble.
Melancholic, poetic, precise, and moving.
On a seemingly ordinary day, in the home of an aging working woman struggling with severe migraines, an unexpected knock at the door changes the course of her life: the professor arrives with a young assistant, and their world begins to unravel. Everything that has been preserved for so long deep inside suddenly bursts outward — the boundaries blur, and they confront one another and the question that no one in the world has dared to ask: what remains in the shadow?
“Uncle Vanya” is a play about people who live for the sake of others and forget themselves — until they dare, for the first time, to choose life in truth.
